Advanced Wound and Ostomy Care
We create a healing environment
Caring for patients with wounds or new ostomies at home can be a daunting task for caregivers. Led by registered nurses certified in wound, ostomy and continence (WOCNs), our team has the knowledge, skills and experience to promote wound healing and help recent ostomy patients adjust to their new circumstances.
Wound care
Our goal is to shorten wound-healing time, prevent new pressure ulcers, and teach patients and caregivers how to care for these conditions if they can. Our wound care specialists make timely recommendations to the patient’s doctor on an individualized plan of care. Our best practice approaches help prevent re-hospitalizations related to wound infection or deterioration.
Ostomy care
We carefully attend to the physical needs of ostomy patients and make them feel comfortable. Through education and counseling, we enable ostomy patients and their families to resume their lives with renewed confidence. As we provide care, we answer your questions and, whenever possible, teach you to manage ostomy care on your own.
